We depart from Marrakech at 08:00hrs and head for the coastal town of Essaouira.   There are plenty of opportunities to see the surrounding country side on this excursion.     Once we arrive in Essaouira, around 2 hours later, we have the full day to explore the town and, if you wish, enjoy the beach.   There is plenty of opportunity to purchase gifts from the medina, meet the local people and take lunch in some of the  local cafes and restaurants offering locally caught fresh fish and seafood.

We return to Marrakech, arriving back at around 18:00hrs.
